General history and facts:

”M/S Viberö” is a passenger ship built in 1993 by Oskarshamns shipyard for Waxholms Ångfartygs AB, Sweden. It was delivered on 16th of April and only two days after it entered service in the Stockholm's archipelago. It has four sister ships, named ”M/S Vaxö”, ”M/S Vånö”, ”M/S Väddö” and ”M/S Värmdö”. The main engines were chenged in 2003 and once more in 2012 to the current MTU 12V 2000 M61. Since 2019, Viberö is operated by Blidösundsbolaget AB, Stockholm.
