General history and facts:

”M/S Baltic Princess” is a cruise ship and Ro-Pax ferry, launched on 9th March 2008 and delivered to “Tallink” on 10th of July 2008 for its “Silja Line”. The ship was built at Aker Finnyards Helsinki, Finland and soon after coming to its home port in Tallinn, Estonia it began its service on the route Tallinn–Helsinki (on 15th of July 2008). On 2nd of February 2013 “Baltic Princess” was re-registered with a home port at Helsinki and started to travel under the flag of Finland at the route Turku–Åland–Stockholm. In the 2022 the ship was transferred on the Turku–Långnäs–Kapellskär line. ”Baltic Princess” is of 1A Super Ice-class and the second of a series of three ships. The other two sister ships are “M/S Galaxy” and “M/S Baltic Queen”. Since May 2023 it is serving the line Turku–Långnäs–Stockholm
