”M/S Ramsö” is a passenger ship built in 1964 at “Bröderna Larssons mekaniska verkstad”, Sweden for “Waxholms Ångfartygs AB”, Vaxholm. The ship was delivered on 24th of October 1954 under the name “Ramsö”. In 1989 the engines were exchanged to MAN B&W Alpha, 850 hp (625 kW). In 1994 the operation of the ship was taken by “Stockholms Sjötrafik AB”, in April 2007 the operation was taken by “Blidösundsbolaget AB” and in June the same year the ship operation was transferred to “Utö Rederi AB”. In 2012 “Ramsö” was sold to “Ornö Sjötaxis Rederi AB”. On 29th of August 2019 it was sold to “Ellboda Rederi AB” with a home port of Vaxholm. From 6th of January 2020 until 22nd of March 2020, it was rented out to “Rederi AB Ballerina”, Stockholm to serve the route Nybroplan–Nacka Strand–Larsberg–Ropsten. In June 2020 it was transferred to the Vaxholm–Lillsved–Grinda–Vaxholm–Nybroplan–Vaxholm–Lillsved–Grinda line. In June 2022 “Ramsö” was sold to “Rederi AB Ballerina” with a home port of Stockholm. In March 2023 it was charted to “Blidösundsbolaget AB” for traffic in in the Stockholm's archipelago.
