General history and facts:

”M/S Gällnö” is a passenger ship built by Uki Workboat at Uusikaupunki in Finland. The vessel was ordered on 16th of January 2008, launched on 1st of September 2009 and finally delivered to Waxholms Ångfartygs AB, Stockholm on 17th of May 2010. Several days later, after a formal christening on 20th of May under the name “Gällnö” the ship started its service in the Stockholm's archipelago. During the 2010s there were several changes in the operator until 1st of October 2019, when the ships management was taken by Blidösundsbolaget AB, Stockholm.
