General history and facts:

”M/S Sjövägen” is a passenger ship built in 2014 by “Faaborg Værft A/S”, Denmark for “Rederi AB Ballerina”, Sweden. The ship was launched on 22nd of August 2014 and delivered in on 3nd of September the same year under the name “Sjövägen” and home port of Stockholm. “Sjövägen” has three sister ships, “M/S Clara”, “M/S Maria” and “M/S Sofia”. Since 11th of September 2014 it is transporting passengers on the route Nybroplan–Nacka Strand–Larsberg–Ropsten (“line 80”) for “Storstockholms Lokaltrafik” In August 2020 the ship was renovated at “Kummelnäs varv AB”, Nacka. Two small exhaust pipes for the auxiliary engines were installed.
