General history and facts:
”M/S Yxlan” is a passenger ship built in 2018 by “ASK Enterprise Ltd.”, Latvia and equipped by “Baltic Workboats AS”, Estonia. It was ordered on 6th of February 2017, launched on 2nd of August 2018 and delivered on 5th of November 2018 to “Waxholms Ångfartygs AB” under the name “Yxlan”. The ship had its maiden voyage on 22nd of December 2018 on the route Söderöra–Norröra–Gräskö–Östernäs–Furusund. Since that time it is utilised for transport of passengers in the Stockholm's archipelago. The vessel is managed by “Blidösundsbolaget AB”.
