General history and facts:
”M/S Dalarö” is a passenger ship launched in 2005 by the Moen Slip A/S, Kolvereid, Norway. It was delivered to the first owner, Waxholms Ångfartygs AB on 18th of February 2005 and immediately entered service. Since then it transports passengers in the Stockholm's archipelago.In 2017 Dalarö had change of the main engines from Volvo Penta D12 to Scania D13 092M, both of which are with very similar performance. Since 2019, M/S Dalarö is operated by Blidösundsbolaget AB, Stockholm.
