General history and facts:

”M/S Hemta” is a small passenger ship built in 1966 by Fisksätra’s shipyard and delivered to Kurt Olsson, Stackängen under the name “Hemta”. Latter the original twin Volvo Peugeot MD27 were exchanged with a single engine Cummins, 300 hp (220 kW). In 1997 the ship was sold to “Söderholms Båttaxi AB”, Runmarö and put into traffic in the south parts of Stockholm's archipelago. In 2005 new engine option Volvo Penta D6-310, 310 hp (228 kW) was installed. In November 2012 it was sold to “Madam Rederi AB”, Stavsnäs. In 2014 it was renovated at “Boghammar Marin AB”, Lidingö. In July 2018 “Hamta” was sold to Myrén Marinkonsult AB, Huddinge with a new home port of Dalarö. In June 2021 it changed owner to “Pairways”, Enskede with a home port at Tynningö.
